Higher Power
The 2019 TVG Pacific Classic race was one we entered Higher Power in with the belief that he could be a contender despite never previously having won a graded stakes race. He went in as a mid-pack contender based on the morning line odds and bettors. He and Jockey Flavien Prat proved their riding partnership as they got to the finish line first leaving the next horse five and a quarter lengths behind them! What a thrill of a race and finish!
The purchase of Higher Power and relocating him to the west coast proved to be a great move for him. He advanced to a champion level in his total of 20 starts, bringing a great challenge to any competitor.
