The Horse of a Lifetime...

is what Flightline has been to us, from his campaign with his preps leading to his first race at Santa Anita Park to his four G1 wins, undefeated in his 6 starts. The wins were always romps, leading by multiple lengths and all done with such athleticism, brilliance, and grace. The meticulous training between John Sadler and Assistant Trainer, Juan Leyva, hands on care between Adolfo, Cesar and Rene, Wes + Juan his farriers, the veterinarians, and all in his universe were a part of his success at the track, bringing us the most thrilling races of our lifetime. It’s very likely we are still grasping the reality of his greatness.

Bloodstock agent David Ingordo is fully credited with bringing the partnership together and ultimately, introducing us to Flightline. Flightline’s wins earned him the Longines World’s Best Racehorse and the NTRA Eclipse awards for Horse of the Year and Older dirt Champion.

FLIGHTLINE AT STUD

Flightline’s transition from the track to Lane’s End was seamless and his move took place after his incredible and final race and win in the Breeders’ Cup Classic. He settled into his stall, new routine and new career so quickly. All confirming how intelligent he is and able to take in his surroundings and information in a way that is not always common. 2024 saw the first of his foals landing and looking impressive even as they begin to take shape. It will undoubtedly be exciting to watch as they develop and begin to race durign the 2026 calendar.

What people have said about FLIGHTLINE

"This horse is so brilliant. This is not an ordinary horse, this is a very special horse. We want to do right by the horse and all other things will fall into place."

– John Sadler

"I know there were a lot of questions going in about the distance and this and that, but I think anybody who knew Flightline and was around him knew this was the greatest racehorse of our time and he was going to handle that with the grace and elegance that he did."

– Kosta Hronis

"There’s no other horse that I’ve ever been on that felt the way he felt. He had a special way of moving. He moved with ease but power at the same time and he did things so much easier than any other horse I’ve ever been around. I could feel that the first day I sat on him."

– Juan Leyva

"Take a good look at this cause you're not going to see this too often, maybe never again, Flightline 20 lengths clear. Flavian Prat takes a hold and canters in in the TVG Pacific Classic!"
